I took the G-spot out to the fingers on Sunday with Steve and Mark (vabch1117) onboard. We found a few nice weed lines and picked up Countless large Blue fish and about a dozen gaffer Dolphin keeping nine of the largest early. The winds/seas picked up so we began heading towards home but did manage to pick up 1 BFT about 40". On the way in we tried to entice an AJ or Cobia from around a few of the sea buoys but had no hookups. Back and cleaned up by sunset.

Mark, nice meeting & fishing with you. We'll have to get out there again sometime. Sorry, no Pic.'s (operator error with new camera)

Good work Jim,
Sounds like we all had a good day.
It was a decent ride to the point, mostly 2 to 4 waves. We were running around 28 knots average speed.
It is nice when you leave the dock and back before noon with the coolers full of fish.

Todd, You got that right! I got to break in my new fish bag the wife got me. Those things are a life saver. It rides nicely on the stern and really holds alot. As you know the Sea fox lacks in large fish storage. I keep a large cooler full of ice for it in the cabin and use all the other storage boxes for beer.

Keeps the cockpit clear. Jim

We more or less just followed the 20fm line south following the weed line starting at the 21fm finger. The weed line must have been 8nm or so...

wow we were there on Sat and saw the line forming up, but was very broken up.
At the hotdog there was very large weed lines and large patches, but the whole place was weedy and lines fouled as soon as they were put out.
