Welcome all Flounder Fishermen in the bay to our third annual flounder tournament. Our tournament has been a huge sucess the last two years and we are looing forward to even bigger results in 2006. A little history, we average 90boats per year making us quickly one of the biggest flounder tourneys on the east coast. Pretty impressive for a town of 7,000 population and only one flashing red light in the whole town. It is very hard to raise money in our small town and Boys and Girls Club. We have managed to have a great tourney and raise over $24,000 for the building of our new gym for the children in our community. Our gym is complete but we very much need capital to run the facility and provide sponsorships for kids families whocan not afford memberships. So we depend on outside counties and states to participate. With out all of the generous support from fisherman and sponsors we would not have the success and donations. This year we have a new aggregate weight format. The total weight of two flounder wins and places in the tourney. The past two years the avg. top prize is $2,500. If we get 150 boats we could have a $4,500 top prize. We guarantee 10 payouts as well as junior, senior, and lady angler prizes. There is also an almost full calcutta prize pay out. The captians party is great with food beer at cheap prices the go 100% to the benefit, music, livauction, and 50/50 raffles. This tourney is located at the gwynns Island boatel in Mathews Va. There are two ramps close by and hotels in Deltaville, Gloucester, and Kilmarnock. Lots of nearby campsites available also. The tournament is August 5th 2006. The Captains party is August 4rth. Details and forms are in the Chesapeke Angler magazine. Thanks to our sponsors and participants in the past and look forward to seeing you again..

Thanks for your time,
