FYI - For those who do not already know, last week the Water Dog and I passed two (2) unlit buoys heading out from Cape Henry. Sorry forgot the exact location numbers, but were directly on course from Cape henry to the Finger area. Of course buoys could be seen on radar, but always keep your eyes open when running in dark on auto pilot.

Good counsel, thanks. It stands to reason that when boats and buoys collide, boats generally lose that battle!

A large Sport Fisherman out of Rudee hit the Dumpsite Buoy last summer it did 100K worth of damage.
