caught plenty of bait in the back river so we thought it would be a great day. Went to the CBBT and by the time we were there my 5 year old was sick. That put a damper on the day there. But if we could catch some fish he would liven up maybe. We fished the pilons from 4th, N to 30 ft. then skipped to the High Rise and fished thosse until the tide was rushing. Not so much as a bite off from anything, much less a flounder. Saw no fish being boated from the other 4 or 5 vessels in site either. Chummed for 2 hours a little up the bay on an old fishing spot. I skate we think(pulled the hook as he was sucking to the bottom) Couldnt move him off the bottom. Fished Back R.Reef for an hour. Couple croaker. Hopefully some of the boats over the tube did something but we didnt.

Where in the hell are all the fish ! This sucks!!!

Went out yesterday and had a blast if you call being beaten to death by rough water that. Fished 1st island, and high rise bridge area. With the South winds and the rushing tide the water was rough. Caught a few small croaker and nothing else. Spent 1-2 hours towing a broken down boat back to Kiptopeak (sp?). On the way back to Little Creek from there could only do about 8 knots for about half the trip. Oh well, next time

I was out Monday between the second and third. Nice day but few fish. We caught several undersized flounder and one keeper. A few decent croakers at the first and one HUGE oyster toad. Even had trouble finding bait inside Lynnhaven.
