FISHWATER
I was fortunate enough to Tarpon fish with a co-workers father last night.
He is in his 70's and does not fish for them anymore but I tell ya .... he knows where they are and he put us on em last night.
We had two hookups with one lasting a good 5 minutes and 2 good leaps.
Estimated to be a 50-60 lb fish.
We never boated any but it was a great time.
I had only caught one about 10 yrs ago at the Navy piers in Key west.

Wish I could stay another night but work calls.

We were using cut spot in around 2 feet of water.

I will try to post some pics later, maybe some of you will recognize the spot.

So far I have hooked and landed everything in the bay (Got a cobia this year). Didn't know Tarpon came up this far. Were did you fish for them?

REELAX
I have been on the hunt for a Virginia Tarpon for the last few weeks.

No success as of yet.. I have made 4 trips there so far. Hopefully
I will find success soon. I found a place they frequent but no takers
for my line.

Hey Fishwater were you in two foot or water or 12 foot? Never heard of fishing them in 2 foot. Might something new to try.
FISHWATER
Yea I know, but that's where we sat in 2 ft of water. From what I was told there was a slew that ran by our spot that was a little deeper like 6-9 ft.

Interesting. We caught a 70lber this year and jumped off another one. We were in 15ft of water.
