went out to the m&m anchored up on the suffolk side right were the rocks are there was alot of birds working the area and alot of blue fish jumping everywhere got 2 nice size blues in the boat after losing 3 lines that got caught in the rocks
and caught 2 dozen monkfish would catch 2 to 3 at a time on the rigs we were using
weather looked bad the hole time we were at but fish were not to bad

That's a great area for taylor blues this time of year. I have caught them over the MM tunnel when they were so thick you could toss a gotch-plug in the water, set the rod in the rod-holder and they would catch themselves!

With gas prices the way they are it's nice to catch them in close instead of running to the CBBT.
