Supposed to be fishing out of Teach's Friday, the forcast is for light East wind 5-10. I was wondering with the east wind if the trip would be comfortable. By the way boat is a 23 footer and I was only looking to be around 10 miles off. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...............

You can't catch a crab on an E wind

When you are going out of the inlet you are heading South. Any wind 5-10 will be calm.

Well, just got back from the trip and had a great time. Thanks for the help with the wind question. Ended up taking a few people who had never been to the blue and they had a blast. We didn't put a hurting on the population, but we caught plenty for the nights dinner. We ended up with 4 mahi's with 2 going around 20lbs. Funny thing was we caught the 2 nicer fish off of the sea bouy a few miles out of the inlet. All in all a great time had by all, can't wait to get out there again. Thanks again for the help, tight lines to all..........................................
