Well I guess it is time to start setting up an overnighter. I had planned on doing it the 2nd weekend in September but I have to work the 2nd and 3rd weekend. As of right now I am able to go for the first weekend in September. The guy I normally fish with is going to be out of town and he is not sure if he will be back in time. My next question is, does anyone have a spare slot on there boat for me if he can not make it? I have Thursday thru Monday off so hopefully we can all work something out.

I have any weekend this month open but need to catch a ride with someone. Still not setup for offshore. I would like to try a new reel or two out and get some feedback.

Is anyone up for an overnighter??? Tuna/Marlin during the day, Mako/Anything that bites at night?

Don't think there's going to be two days of Wx together this coming weekend. Maybe cleared by late Monday or Tuesday.

Yeah I just checked the weather and it looks like Friday is the start of hurricane winds. Hopefully it dies down and we can possibly get a trip Sunday or Monday night. I plan on taking Tuesday off if I have to.

FYI.....Owls Creek ramp will be unavailable from Sunday morning at 0200 until 3PM sunday afternoon for labor Day festivities at the beach..gotta launch from elsewhere if your fishing on Sunday....Bob

That might be that marathon, fyi, do not go to the beach at all this weekend. Roads blocked, too many things going on. I did a dive trip out of rudee on labor day weekend a few years back, took me and hour to get to Rudee at 0700.
