short comings
Hey everyone, I'm heading to Hatteras in the morning for the annual family get away. I'm taking my little 17' whaler along for the ride but have a couple charter trips booked for next week. Hoping someone has been out of Teach's lately and can give me a heads up as to how far out they have been hitting the grass line. Hoping to make some other trips chasing the Mahi with my boat. Thanks for the help.

Fished with Bowman on the 20th. Sea were very angry that day, we were the only boat out of TL this day. Things looked pretty bleak for a long while but late
around 230 or 3 we found a couple of good weed matts and score with 51 balers.
Total for the day was 1 woo at 18# and 51 balers. We took a serious a$$ whipping
for these fish. Really shouldn`t have gone out.

Good Luck,

Just got back from Hatteras today. We had to ride a good ways to find a decent weed line, we caught a few. The most productive place we fished for mahi size wise was the sea bouy just outside the inlet. We pulled 2 bulls off of that area, around 20lbs. Good luck, and be sure to let us know how you do..................
