Welcome to the board Loop. Sorry to hear about the engine. Stray connecting rods bouncing around the crankcase can cause issues. Hope you can get on a boat. Good luck and tight lines.

Glad to find this board, Hear alot of good things about the folks here, Yea those connecting rods are a critical part of the motor make up, and when they are sticking thru the side of the block that kinda screws the timing up a bit. oh well, have to work a couple extra hours next month for this little mishap.
Anyway if anyone has room, or is putting together a makeup charter for next sunday please let me know I have a family friend that planned to fish all summer coming down and the hole in my engine keeps me dry docked.....and I dont know why, its only a little hole ;}
