Did anyone else read the article on Thursday about the teen that caught a 300lb. Blue Marlin while jigging for Sea Bass and Tilefish at an offshore wreck? I thought that catching catfish on topwater lures was unusual but, wow!

I saw that, too. How crazy is that?!?! Goes to show that a hungry fish will eat anything if its presented to him.

I read that, what a great catch, but I'm not ready to trade in my Get Reel lures for diamond jigs. I was fishing down off of Cabo and there they use big iron jigs for tuna. They drop them to the bottom and crank them as hard as they can back up. Both bluefin and yellowfin will eat them, so why not a marlin?
