Just talked to Bob and he was out around the CB line and said that they saw some big logs floating inside the CLT, so watch out while running. There could be a ton of stuff out there so be careful!!

Thanks Don! Took your advise and kept an extra watchful eye out while I was out at the HRBT (norfolk side) tonight and didn't see any debries floating around. well... as far as my night vision would let me.

We saw a lot of debris offshore (see my Cigar report for 9/3). We ran in the dark for 1 1/4 hours so there is no telling what me missed on the way out, but there is quite a bit of blocking lumber (6X6's) and heavy broken framing in 20 fathoms on the 100 line. It is big enough to damage running gear or lower units -- so get real observant after about 100 feet of depth.
