Friend of mine fished today and reported that they caught 7 NICE yellowfin on the north side of Norfolk Canyon with several over 50 lbs. They started on a weed line near break and had good action from the start with double and triple knockdowns on shortriggers and flat lines - no long bites. Just wanted to update the board.

A most welcome report indeed. Thanks for the update.

I saw some down at the Marinas at Rudee on Saturday...both yellowfin and Long Fin Tuna. Yellows were 50 pound class fish. Great to see they're moving back in!!

It was exciting to see a few crashing yesterday. They were in the area of the temperatures break, but off the organized weedline. We made several passes in a big circle but no joy. We'll see what this next set of storms do to mix up what we thought we had just figured out!
Tight lines.

Volunteer is standing by for a good forecast and weather to match it. That, and having to work around trips to Knoxville to the TN vs Cal game and the TN vs FL game. Can't catch too many tuna in Tennessee waters!!
