Fishing inside the inlet next to the channel from 11pm to 2:30am. Action were slow at the begining. Later when the tide started to move out Puppy drums were everywhere, between two of us we caught at least 10 puppy drums in a row. Six keepers with the smaller 23" and the largest 26". There are lots stripers also and they are hungry, they take just about anything, but they are very skinny.
Take home from last night was:
6 puppy drums
1 21" flounder
15 croakers at least 2lb each
2 gray trouts
1 black sea bass 13"
By the way, we were using cut mullet (strip and chunk).
