Full Version: When trolling for blues and spanish.....??

we are goin' out saturday to the CBBT and maybe a few wrecks, my question is.....i have a few clark spoons and would like to try trolling for some blues and maybe some spanish when i do this do i need to use a inline weight or just the spoon?? and what are the good area's for this kinda trolling............

I run Clark Spoons 3 different ways:
1. On top with no weight at all
2. Medium depth with an inline trolling sinker
3. Fairly deep with planers

In any case you need about 15' of leader, and do not use a swivel snap at the spoon. Tie the line directly to the spoon. If necessary, put a swivel in the middle of the leader.
