Full Version: Night Fishing CBBT 9/29

Went to the CBBT last night from Lynhaven. Went out about 5pm and back in about 1030pm. Used white bucktails(most productive) and drifted the channel with bottom rigs. Caught several (blues 14-16 inches) in about 45 minutes fishing the ocean side rocks of the 2nd island.
I was out there too till around 10pm.. was casting to the rocks at the second.. mirror lures and storms.. got 4 20inch stripers and one small blue.. the tide was really late to turn. wind was w nw, didnt help with the tide going out.. still not a bad night.. was out wed night and got this nice 27 3/4 inch on a shrimp gulp of all things. jiging the rocks bay side of the second.

WOOT! Nice rock!. I cant wait til the season starts. Looks like it will be a good one this year.
