I caught 6 12-14 oz inside Lynnhaven before my wife reminded me of a prior commitment. I left them biting.

I caught them on the bay side of the 1st Island last week, no monsters but they were better than average. Last year I didnt catch any yellow bellies until the end of Oct.

On Saturday they were scattered between the HRBT and Pier 12 at NOB. Bloodworm fishbites were the ticket.

Where did you catch them? I'm looking to go spot hunting one day this week and have no idea where to go.

RIGHT ACROSS FROM LONG BAY POINT TACKLE. THEY WERE HITTING BLOOD WORM FISH BITES JUST AS GOOD AS THE REAL THING.

I have them all alive in a pen!! Been catching them in Lynnhaven under the bridges as well as Rudee in the inlet between 1st street and Croatan. Can't wait to feed em' to some hungry Rockfish.
