Marked alot of fish in the 35-55' range on the bottom just on the bay side of the tube. After about an hour or so of the bottom bouncing, managed to put a 28" rockfish in the live well using a 6 oz inline sinker and a bucktail with a 6" sassy shad (chartroise).
Moved over to the other side of the tube and bumped around the pilings throwing a white bucktrail tipped with a 4" sand eel (Red, Chartrouis and Pink) combinations. Pulled in about 15 or so schoolies in the 18-20" range. After that I anchored up on the bay side and fished the last part of the incoming tide in about 20' of water with fish finder rigs and circle hooks baited up with menhaden chuncks. Pulled in anorther 6-8 fish all around 20-24" range. Because of shore based commitments (Trick or treators) I had to call it a night/day just as the tide was shifting.
All in all a great day. Arms are sore from all the casting and reeling in of big fish
