Hey, I like to fish bridges at night but I do not have a boat. I was wondering if there are any good places to fish from shore on or around the HRBT. Maybe from the point at the end of Willoughby Beach? Are there other bridges that offer easier access?

I normally fish around the Coleman Bridge but they have started to crack down on fishing from shore right under the bridge.

Fishing off the rockpiles near the Norfolk side of the HRBT can be great this time of year especially at high tide. I used to catch lots of stripers there. Trouble is there are NO PARKING signs on 15th View where I used to park. I still see people fishing there but don't know where they are parking. The best shore fishing I think is around the Lesner Bridge at Lynnhaven. You could also try the Little Creek Jetty at the east end of Ocean View Ave. near the new East Beach development and the Shore Drive Bridge at Pretty Lake just down the road.
