got a late start out of oregon inlet this am, first line in at 9a and nothing doing until 920a - single hit, one in the box, 1030a still one in the box, 1130a my first triple knockdown, lost all 3, faulty equipment, got the lines back out and bammm a double goy 1 in the box, and that was the way it went until about 2, it was fun - came in with 7 yft

seems like the bite starts at 11-1130 and stops at 230 or 3p

took 070 for about 40 mi., found the fleet and then started hanging around a red boat with a green stick, that was a catching machine - called it the christmas boat

5 out of 7 fish were caught on the b/w mini spreader bars - either with squid or getreel shooters - hope to get to post some pics in the am before we go out to the wrecks

oh yes -- the water temp was 64.---- never 65, did i mention blue and white

weighed one fish and it was 53, the rest were similar - except one runt, probably in the 30's
