Since last weekend was good fishing, we were craving to get the BRING EM IN out again for some fishing action. Dad and I left Huntington at 9:00am and we caught our limit by 11:30am. When we first arrived it was really choppy, which is good because they like rough water. The spread of the day was a wire line rig with a 6'' Golden mullet storm lure, an 8 ounce chartruse mojo with a white bucktail trailing behind it, and an umbrella rig, rigged with 6'' golden mullet storm lures. We had our first hit on the mojo, it was a throw back. And by the way it was an incoming tide! Then we started marking bait every so often and we would hook up, at one time we had a double hook-up on the wireline and the mojo. We caught 7 fish in all, 5 out of the 7 hit the mojo and the other 2 hit the wireline rig. It was a great day all in all, the wind let up and it turned out to be a nice day, we headed home early with a great big smile on our face and a bag full of fillets which we are now preparing for dinner

Cant ask for better fishing in Virginia, especially when we all live in the striper capital of the world!!! Biggest fish of the day was 24'', great fight on the mojo. And another thing was, some of the fish had sea lice on them, they were all very healthy fish! Hope all did well, tight lines to all.
Till next time,
1st Mate
