Whos headed south this weekend ? I was thinking bout going to HI Sat. nite and fishing sunday... never been out of OI would need to follow somebody out sat from there . would love some sushi !

I think the tuna bite has been more consistent out of OI than HI. Some days it's scatterd and some days there are limits. Unless you want Kingfish then go to HI. I think the Hatteras boats are making the run up to the 1250 rocks area for tuna which I think is about 35 miles out of Hatteras Inlet. They are catching Kings inshore on the wrecks. For tuna either place you would probably have pretty similar distances to travel. Just keep an eye on the reports for the rest of the week even though no one will be fishing the next couple days.

I will be going out of Teachs Sat and Sunday Fishing on my Regulator The Tuna bite is most consistent North to the 1250 rocks their have been a handful caught on the 280 and 230 rocks, Sunday looks like a real good day if the weather holds. The boys out of Hatteras mohawked em yesterday. M

conch, yeah i was looking at sunday weather too. ill get up with you if i come down. what heading are you taking out of the inlet 150* ? or more north than that ?

1250 rocks are NE of the tower.

I will have to play it by Saturday fishing, A good freind and Captain is fishing the next two days so i should have a real good read on it for the weekend ( Capt Scott Warren on the Big Tahuna ) You can reach me on 443 262 5500 by land and Ch# 1 on the water
