The warm water is east of the cigar, and so are the tuna. We had 3 hits and got 2 plus one came in the spread and looked at some b/w spreader but didn't trip it off the outrigger. We went past the cigar to the north and then headed south = between the noth end of the cigar and half way down it on the east side is where the action was - 69+ water temp, none over 69.7,, and generally around 300 ft of water
bird and green machine - 1 in box
blue and white mini spreader bar had one on with a double hook up
island eyes got one in the box
the look me over one was a blue white mini spreader wiith squid
will post more later

Owen the SST I forgot to bring would not have done us any good. The latest SST looks just as we saw it. The ring around the west side of the cigar looks just like the route we took and got the tuna. Looks like we could have found warmer water to the north east, but the morning sst did not show that,

Great job Owen and crew. We may look for a Wx break this weekend. Friday will still be puffy, Saturday looks to clear later in the day but the west wind will make the ride home pretty wet. Sunday looks OK for now.
Bob, What's your plan?
Tight lines.

Im throwing out old okra tonight to make room for the rockfish.
Everytime my mom visits she brings 30#'s of it. I returned from Bama this Thanksgiving with a cooler of okra.
Anyone want some Okra?

We only eat it fried also, cant have that everyday, so its hard to consume that much okra.

Nice job Owen. I hope that after the holidays I will be able to fish again. My job has me working too many hours to leave the dock right now. Keep in touch.............. We'll be fishing together again before too long.
