I just moved up from NC and was wondering how far the run is from Rudee to The Cigar?

Do you guys see many small boats (24 ft) out there?

I have a 24' and have been out there many times. I pick my days though. This site is good for wave forecasts if the cigar is in dark blue no problem if it is in light blue itll be a slow run out. Any other color I would not go unless you have balls of steel.

Did we pick that day we were 110 miles out of Rudee in your 24??? It was a ride Ill never forget.

ERIC it is a 22 ft kat that enjoys the cigar - the point - tuna hole - 60 mi is about my max though never know what the weather is going to do. Heck that was a ride the other day in Tom's 24 --- one good boat and a good driver

Yep, a hell of a driver, got me home with 100+ miles of 4-6 in a 24ft boat. Was not fun, but my butt is almost healed.
