Nice day on the water. Fished CH about 1-2 miles north of the light houses. Trolled from 0800 to 1200 or so and caught 8 stripers (34"-39") and one bluefish (25"?). 7 of the fish hit Grey Ghost Stretch 25 and one (39") hit a chartreusse Stretch 25. No hits on the Mojos or tomics. Bite slowed around noon and were about to head in when we noticed some birds working by the fleet. Headed over and casted storms on light tackle and caught another 4 stripers (all ~34-36") and one big bluefish. Tried using the flyrod but no luck. All the fish looked nice and fat. Released them all except for 2.

Nice work Seapro. They're some pretty fish. It was a good day. Didn't want to head in but one of my buddies promised his wife they would go Christmas shopping. He was still two hours late. Hopefully he can go out again. I think its going to be a good season. Chris, time to put that ocean gear to use. Hope to see ya out there.

Good work! Saw lots of nice fish being unloaded while recovering the boat at Rudee. I would say the ocean season is in full swing.

I took out my boat late today for a 1st run I actually smoked a Cuban Cigar ,well half of one till it started making me feel dizzy.Jason and I fished off the oceanfront the entire time we Caught a half dozen large Blues up to 33 inches.we also caught a few Dozen nice Stripers about 34 to 42 inches. They had sea lice and all were healthy fish no sores. The Bunker spoon with an inline 48 oz sinker was the no one producer.Stretch 25 Chartreuse was #2 and Stretch 30 Grey ghost got a few also.
