Put in at OC around 7:30am and went south towards Golfball. Trolled for three hours down to and around Sandbridge. Marked tons of bait but no strikes. Got a call about a bluefish bite on the line straight out of Rudee. Headed that way and found the fish and whales. Ended up catching one 30" rock and 30+ blues up to 35". The rock hit a chart. 25+ and the blues hit anything you put in the water. Not a bad day on the water but where are the rock??????? Has anyone heard of anything going on up north off of the Eastern Shore?

Good info...and note on the whales...this time of the year you get some pretty large whales near shore in the striper grounds. Be carefull running to your fishing locations....had a boat last year that hit one of those big whales and did some pretty good damage to the boat and the whale.....so this is just something else to be mindful of when running around......good job on the fish....Bob
