Thats a sweet fish, bet they got a pretty penny for him at the dock.
I was talking to a guy who wanted to take me to MC and help commercial fish for them, but I lost track of the guy.

Fish like that arent sushi quality because they didnt bleed it so they could get the maximum weight.It is still worth 10 bucks a pound though.You have to put rods down the spine cut the belly and pack it with ice or soak it in Brine.

I am told they are getting about $4 a pound for BF. That's info is from my buddy Ronny who works a boat out of Wanchese.

If the market is flooded the price goes down but 4 bucks sounds cheep.

I know I was suprised when he told me that. I know this is off topic but he said they could'nt give away YF's this year 2006.
A few years back they were getting anywhere from $15-20 per pound! Yikes, that's alot of $$$$$$
