Fished with Mike(Rockin Robin) and his buddy Howard. Ran to Cape Henry under near flat conditions and set lines. Had marks once in a while, but nothing great. Fished to the Green Can and then picked up and ran south off Dam Neck. Nothing great there either. Decided to pull up and start the Christmas visiting. Right when we pulled the first line in, Mike goes..."Wait a minute, look at those marks!!" We started getting great bait marks, the kind that cover up the screen. Trolled for a while longer with no hits...then we called it and went home.
sounds like your friend wasnt quite ready to to call it quits....
