A friend wants to trailer a MD boat to rudee inlet in Jan to troll for rockfish what license do we need?
I believe that MD and VA have a reciprocal license agreement but you probably should check on that. Check the VMRC website.
A saltwater Lic, either a boat lic to cover all aboard or individual lic.
Go to VDGIF site to purchase. if you have mary-land lic you may be OK.
When your date comes near look for post not in this forum but in the Bay Virginia section.

Md. & Va. have reciprocity so if you have a current Md. Saltwater license you will be ok. Otherwise you will need a Va. license. However, keep in mind if you turn South from Rudee don't stray into NC waters. They aren't so kind.
