Their still killin' the Toooonaaaaaa down there. I cant shake the offshore bug.
With that and then reading Woody2's post in the "Out of Town" Board, there's no end in site for the cure of the offshore bug!! 
You know, I wonder IF its going to end this year.
The water temp at the Duck research pier is still 54 degrees. The striper fishing further down south from there sucks. The folks down there are upset about it, because those stripers are a big cash crop for them. I see Oregon Inlet boats all the time at Carrolla and those boys are not burning fuel to run up there if they have ANY fishing alternative south.
With this warm weather I think we are in an El Nino phase and it could stay warm a good while and its only 74 days until spring.

74 days and counting. Every day this weather holds, we are a day closer to being out of the woods.

Thanks for the invite Owen but I will be fishing the Mid Atlantic Rockfish Shootout with Bob on Friday. Good luck down there.
