Going to try concrete ships/Cape Charles area this saturday. Maybe get a release citation. Probably try Fishermans Island/Smith Island, n the way back to Lynnhaven, for a few keepers. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Anybody else going to be in the bay Saturday? Give me a shout on 68. I'll be in my Angler CC.

I'll be out at the CBBT Saturday morning early. I'll be on the Trophy. I'm taking some friends who've never caught any fish like that so hopefully we'll do well and I'll have some new time fishing buddies. Probably try some eels and a little trolling.

Im thinking the same thing. Not much of a cold snap, but Ill take it. At least I had to turn the lights on in my engine compartment due to the cold. They have been off for quite awhile. Weird weather huh? The croaker should be back any day.

I'm going out of Cape Charles on Sunday and Monday. Will be in a 16 foot carolina skiff so I hope the winds are as predicted. The focus will mostly be catch and release stripers, but I plan on devoting a little time to try for some Tog. Any advice on hot spots on that side would be much appreciated.

Just watch out for the 200 plus boats in the Rockfish Shootout this weekend inshore.
Good luck and have fun!
