I'm going out of Rudee for stripers on Saturday. I realize that there will be a lot of boats out there for the Shootout. Where can I find stripers and not get caught up in them too much. I can use GPS coordinates.

If you are going out of Rudee and launching from OWL Creek, you had better be at the ramp before the sun comes up or you will not find a place to park--after waiting in line for an hour or more to launch your boat.

The shootout participating boats will be going in all directions, so your choise is up to you. If it were me, I'd head north.

Im not in the shootout but I am going to head south. I dont think you are going to get away from people no matter where you go. Im not leaving very early either so I hope Owl's creek isnt too packed.

Well seeing that there was beehive of what looked to be about 10-15 blocks long about 1/2 mile out of rudee about 3 pm today, you could go anywhere.
