Got a late start, dropped lines in right off Cape Henry Light around 2pm . Hooked up the first keeper about 10 minutes later on parachute rig with six ounce inline. Saw some birds working about a mile or so north and ran to them. Picked up a couple more at 37 and 38". The bite and Birds died, headed back over to the light house area and picked up another keeper. Mixed in a couple throwbacks. Besides the first one, the rest were tearing up the daisy chain set up with green bucktails. Pretty good afternoon, back at the dock in Sunset by 6pm.Saw team Reelax passing me on my way out. Hope all of you in the tournament catch them up.As soon as I figure out how to post a pic I'll get one up.

Thanks the report. I hope to try tomorrow. With my 17' boat and the forecasted 10-15 knot SW winds, I'll probably stay in close around Cape Henry.

Thanks for the report. I've got two home-made daisy chains that I can't wait to wet again. So far, caught a 36" on one and have'nt tried the other yet. Catchin' fish on a lure you made yourself doubles the pleasure.
