Flew down to Hatteras this afternoon to get squared away on slip for the spring. Made a low level pass from Kitty Hawk all the way up 2 miles off beach at 1630 local. NADA, no hives, no birds and no boats. Looked deader than Elvis all the way down and I got a very good look -very clear conditions. Recommendation of your free recon pilot--stay north tommorrow.

Thanks for the tip. I do not think Ill make any south of the line trips this year, the stripers might already be heading to Maine anyway.
