Friends of mine fished the rockpile to the triple ooos yesterday and blistered the dolphin and wahoo can someone remind me its the middle of January. I wake up this am and look at the narrow band of warm and hot water off Hatteras and can only dream of being their the last time i fished these conditions were about 7 years ago it was early December and we had a ball with Tuna,wahoo,dolphin and macs, Conditions this am looks to be about 70 miles of fish in a band of between 4 miles to 7 miles wide of warm water it doesn"t get any better.M

I know, the water is there. Lets go!!!

I was at Teach's Lair on Friday afternoon. 72 degrees, about 5 knots of wind and not a cloud in the sky. I was just aching to head to the Gulf Stream. Can't wait for spring.
