We rolled out of rudee around 5:45 am made the hard right hand turn rolled south to Corolla / Va line . After three an one half hr ..... Zilch .....Nada .... Zero. After listening to the radio scuddlebutte we decided to roll north and put three 35 in class fish in boat . Lots of gannets and you guested it right straight out of rudee. Good thing for good friends and cold BEER.............................

Sorry you made the haul at least you got some fish. I passed you on 264 coming back from the boat show... Nice ride I like the logo on the side.

Pretty much the same story for us. Picked up a heavy southern accent we were so fay down, then ran back up to try an catch some fish.

Dave we tried to give you and Still Thinkin a shout on 68 - 72 but to no avail. Congrats on the El Capatain license.

Sounds like a lot of guys made the call to run south and then turned around only to find the fish outside of Rudee. I was on Billable Ours and with all the chatter on 68 may not have heard you guys. Bob was probably running and its hard for the radio waves to catch a boat at warp speed!!

That explains it. I yelled for Billable, Off the Hook, Still thinkin and WhatupRock several times on 68. Only one that I could get a report to was the whale boat (go figure) and a couple of boats that fished around me (Striper and a Trophy).

Guess I gotta get my radio checked.

Marty i was beginning to wonder if my radio was making the trip.Guess i need to get cel phone # 's.... But then again i have a hard time hearing the radio when im up n running.

Get a Polyplaner Exterior VHF loud speaker they plug in most VHF Radios they only cost about 50 Dollars. It makes the VHF sound alot clearer you can hear mine at full throttle no problem.They are weather proof I have had mine for about 4 years.
