Hi experts
Can someone offer me some help on a website I can go to so I can check the weather/waves/wind reports for the ocean? I have it straight for the bay but was wondering if you knew where I can go for the ocean side...outside of Rudee and North etc...
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Go to "fishweather.com" for the best wind/wave condition info. available.

I use
http://www.weatherunderground.com for my weather. It is usually more accurate than weather.com and there are links for the NOAA issued marine weather broadcasts. Also has links to buoys and weather station data (i.e. Chesapeake light tower, VA beach buoy, etc.). Pretty good all in one site.

Around here, due to the relative lack of weather buoys, I've found some of the best sights for 'surfing conditions' to be very useful. www.surfline.com is one. They also have 'free' webcam that overlooks Ruddee Inlet. It's actually only 'free' for about 30 seconds, but that's usually enough time to catch a boat coming in or heading out and you can get an idea of the conditions.

http://www.pdfamily.com/weather/buoy/CHBbuoy.phpThis is real time for wind/temp for the bay. They only wave height is at the bouy east of VB.
For predictions in the bay I use:
http://weather.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/fmtbltn.pl...l/an/anz632.txtThis is the lower bay section but it gives you a pretty good idea of what the weather will be like off the beach.
