Hey guys. First off thanks for all the great info that everyone provides. This board has shortened my learning curve when it comes to striper fishing.

Currently I'm planning a trip with a few friends and will be fishing 2/11. What is the ramp like at Rudee? I've never used it before. What time should I get there in the AM on a Monday? Also, what are the fish biting on? Hopefully I'll have pictures to share Monday evening!

Thanks,
Ted

Ted,
Welcome!! The ramp at Owl's Creek(Rudee) is a good one. Get there early on the weekends as it fills up fast. There is overflow parking across the street.

The last trip I went out on, the hot bait was a chartruse umbrella rig, but I'd start with a couple Mojo rigs, an umbrella, a stretch and a spoon(or whatever your favorites are) and see what is the fish's preferrence is that day. If nothing happens and you're marking fish, change things up whether you change color, or the lure itself, until you get them dialed in. Good luck and let us know how you do!
