Fished with Craig(cirwin) and my buddy jason today on Craigs rig. Left MS at 7:00 and went straight to CH. Fished for a while with no luck.Saw some birds working south and hauled tail down there. NOTHING! Decided to head back to CH fished hard fo a few hours, with little result. headed a little north to chase birds..Again Nothing ! Really slow morning.Bite started to turn around at noon. Jason lands a nice 38 incher on a chart daisey chain. Here we go !! Had another run through some bait, BAm double knock down on the chart umbrella and the daisey chain. Craig got shook off on the umbrlla so it was my turn. Fish felt really heavy and i was stoked. Fought it in....It was a double hook up. Two schoolies with hUGE bellies. They went back. Kept fishing hard with slow results. Heard of a bite outside of rudee. Hauled tail AGAIN ! ( ran craig to death today) Got 2.5 miles out of rudee..Gannett fest ! It's on ! We hook up through the next hour or so on a grey stretch 35, the umbrella and the secret weapon, Chart mojo with a chart tomic. Every time i bashed that rig...BAM! hook up ! all in all we caught like 9-10 fish 6 keepers from 29-38 inches and craig nailed one jigging right at the end !
Great day on the water, Craig is a pleasure to fish with and has a sweet ride. Jason was fun to joke on all day. And Me...well we know how cool i am ! Randy, It was great talking with you through the day. Glad you were on them at the ramada. This board has the greatest members.Lots of recon and good times ! Now i am off to eat Fish tacos ! Bon' apetite !

Great job guys!! I was at Owls Creek around 10:00 and it was packed...even had trucks at the overflow lot...looked like a weekend. Congrats again!!

Jeff, it was nice talking to you also throughout the day and thanks for the info on the fish. We caught one early@ 8am and was really slow until we hit the ramada around 2pm. We got our limit of 8 all good fish. We left 'em biting at5pm(really hated that but long drive home) Most of our fish were caught on a mojo- umbrella combo. Highlight of the day was my buddy catching a double on that rig both fat fish 37" long. Good luck to you guys probably gonna be a couple more weks before we go again
