Check out this tourney on Jan 29/30. Only $200 for a two day tournament and some huge prizes. The tournament info. is on www.fishasa.com. It also pays thru. 20th place. We are definately going down to fish it. Ive had the boat down there since the Dec. 28th and the fishing has been phenominal !!!!!!!!!!!

I have to travel to San Diego that week but I should be back by the weekend to take that drive down there. I've never launched out of Kitty Hawk, so getting to open water will be my first task.

The inlet can be tricky but just follow the pile of boats out and never go out on a 10mph + neast or east wind. South west and west are the best.

Strongly considering it. Joined up w/ the ASA and plan on fishing the striper circuit this year. Am still in the process of firming up ho's for the trip and accomodations for our stay.

Any More word on this! Weather not looking to good again for this weekend!

Man Im still hoping that the high coming in will stall but who knows it is febuaaaaarrry. May be a good weekend for the boat show but I could not stand it and went sat. Man that 34 pursuit is a looker .

Is anybody going down again this weekend. The wind loooks like its out of the west for a change and sunday looks reel good as of now... The trick is finding the fish, the temp at duck pier has already climbed to 40, so the temps at oregon inlet should be alittle warmer by the weekend. Theres still fish there we had our best days last year about this time....
