Anybody been to the Hot Ditch lately?? Any Luck??

fished several times in the last two weeks. every trip was a good one, with lots of trout and pups

Went 2 days ago from 9 to 11:30, got skunked. Was using shrimp, peeler crabs, menhaden, and squid. Probaly gonna be my last trip til next year. Tight lines...

going again tomorrow, will give an update

I asked a couple of fishing partners at work where the Hot Ditch was and they did not know. Can anyone tell me where it is?

no hot ditch report, boat trailer had a flat tire. Did go to the pond and caught 3 crappie over 15 inches. Also, the hot ditch is located on the Elizabeth River under the I-64 Highrise.

Take exit 297 off of 64 or go over old steel Bridge on 13 towards Portsmouth and go to the access road at the Dominion Power Plant. Hot ditch is at the end of the fork on the right of the service road entrance to the plant (Columbia Gas Co.) at top of hill. You have to be an employee, or accompanied by an employee if fishing from the bank. You can launch off Poindexter street and follow the river to the Cove, and head towards the Ash Hill at the plant, the ditch is to the left of the hill. Good Luck.
