Yeah...Sunk is one of the spieces that I've crossed off my list of fish caught over my life. The good thing is that the season can only go up from there!!

At least you were out there. Makes us all appreciate the catching days.

Hi my name is Bill and I got skunked too at HI last weekend and just now have been able to admit it.
The great thing was Buddying up with another boat..." My Babby Ruth". Going 24 nm as we did or even ten nm in a small boat off shore is much more comforting when some one has your back and Buddy did. Thanks a lot! On my boat we had good water, a great break to 75 degrees, every color I could put out and my special 2$ walmart hoos. We even paid our money, tossing coinage into the briney deep. Oh well next time we will have a great story to tell.
Actually I went back and stayed at a campground in Buxton and fished off the beach pt a few times catching a few keeper flounders, blow toads, sand sharks, and a lot of sand in my truck.
Now that the skunk has been faced and the wind has blown plenty hard these last few days I am looking fwd to fishing again ASAP.

Each Fisherman has a paticular species that they are extremely successfull with. I think Skunk is mine
