Went to HI with my son jake. fished offshore tuesday and saturday. only managed a few false albies and broke ofF a good wahoo which my son fought for 10-minutes. fished in the sound wed and thursday . caught about 50 sharks and undersized flounder blues and oyster toads. My son had fun with the pullage and i could not have been happier about spending quality time with him . I am really fortunate to have a great boy. The other highlight was the vbsf meet and greet at the various docks , boats and bars. Its great to have friends in great places ! Thanks to george , don and neal for the impromptu wire rigging after dinner. also congrats to Todd and Capt Fatbeard on their success and good seeing then as well.
also meeting gusman at teachs congrats on the fish !

enjoyed meeting you and your son. looks like you guys had a great time. I remember fishing with my dad at really young ages and the time you spend with him now will stick with him the rest of his life. He seems to really love it. AWESOME!
I will be down there hopefully every weekend fishing, and extend the offer again to you and your son to fish with me if you don't want the hassles of trailoring.
