Buddy just called me returning from OI. They hammered em' they boated 4 Yellowfin. 75LB, 35LB, and 10LB . They also lost five others without puttin' em in the boat I got stuck at Work and couldn't go......just thought I'd pass the info on to the board. Best of luck to all!

Orgeon Inlet on the outer banks of North Carolina

Congrats to your buddy!! It was a pretty day for sure yesterday. It was nice driving over the inlet.

My bud said going out of the inlet was a mess, as they were encountering 12-14 waves going out of it!!! Also he got hung up on the sand bar comming back in!!! Luckly the waves pushed him back into the channel!! With surf like that; I'm kinda glad I had to work. Still would have liked to fight one of them big boys!!! Oh well I still get to enjoy the benifits of the trip!!!!

Those big waves sounds like falling tide meeting the swell left over from the previuos few days...

Yeah they were. He said the first couple of them soaked everyone on the boat, and he was sure glad his bilge pump was workin good!

Oregon Inlet makes me a little nervous sometimes. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say the "pucker factor" is a solid 10 at OI!

OI or 10 makes sense to me
