Boat Ramps

Mill Landing Road Ramp (off Princess Anne Road in Pungo) you may launch your boat free.

North Bay Shore Campground located off Sandbridge Road near Margie & Rays Seafood Restaurant for a small fee.

Owl Creek Boat Ramp Provides access to the ocean. No launch fee. Located next to the Virginia Marine Science Museum. 701 General Booth Blvd.Virginia Beach, VA 23451 (757) 563-1100

Rudee Inlet at the south end of the Virginia Beach oceanfront opens on the Atlantic Ocean. The Owl's Creek Ramp, a large public launching facility, is located inside Rudee Inlet. This six-lane, concrete ramp with ample parking is open 24 hours a day.

Lynnhaven Inlet just west of Cape Henry opens upon the Chesapeake Bay and provides quick access to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. There are three ramp facilities in the Lynnhaven Inlet area. A public launching facility is available at Seashore State Park at the end of 64th Street. This facility is open from dawn to dusk and requires a fee payment. The distance to the inlet mouth from the launch ramp is approximately 5 miles. Closer to the inlet are two launching ramps operated by private businesses. Bubba's Marina and Lynnhaven Waterway Marina provide boat launching for a fee, have adequate parking, and the ramps are open 24 hours a day.
Unqoute

Additionally, If you can get on the Bases, Fort Monroe and NOB are right on the HRBT, Little Creek Amphib base is on the CBBT.

Good luck, Marty biggrin.gif

There's a ramp right next to Bluewater on Sunset Creek and Wiloughby is right on the other side of the tunnel.

If you fish the lower james river there is the ramp at the james river bridge(hunnington park),16th street in newport news-this brings you out about a mile or so from the m&m,there also is a ramp by wallaces bait and tackle on dandy point road in hampton that brings you out at the mouth of backriver on the bay. all of these are public ramps.
