Put into Owl Creek around 9:30 this morning. Fished off the science center with no luck, then moved into the channel just inside the Gen. Booth bridge.
Drifted with the incoming tide and pulled in one just undersized pup, then a pretty dang big flounder that spit the hook right as I was getting it into the yak. I don't know if it would have been legal under the new rules, but he was big.

The southern branch seemed slow today, nothing doing. I did see a whole mess of reds schooling under the pilings of the science center, but they wouldn't take anything I threw at 'em. Great day on the water, just the right temp, nice breeze.

glad you did some good, dave. sorry the blues didn't cooperate. it's nice to see the specks are showing up, too.
