DO THE COBIA SHOW IN IN EARLY MAY OR JUNE IN THE LOWER BAY AROUND
THE YORK SPIT BECAUSE I'M TRYING TO HOOK MR.BROWN THIS YEAR.
I'M PLANNING ON CHUM CHUM AND EELS AND LIVE CROAKER OR SPOT
AND AS FAR AS HOOKS CIRCLE OR REG. 8/0 HOOKS?

They will show when the water temp is in the high 60's. I always use circle hooks for live bait.

Usually the last week of May we catch a few around Grandview/Buckroe Beach and the mouth of Back River. They get going real good during June in the shallow water along the beach(s). Later, they move offshore to Bluefish Rock and up around the York River.
