Looking to go to the Hampton side of the water tomorrow from Little Creek Marina. I am hoping that someone can let me in on a spot in which we can anchor and see some of the air show as well as do some bottom fishing while hanging out. help.gif

The past few times at the CBBT, incdluding today, we have been burning up the sharks and are just plain over it. I keep telling everyone of how many flounder and large croaker we caught last year and now we have been sunked since April 1 for everything except skate and shark. I was even hit with a 38" dogfish on a fake tsunami squid rig with no natural bait. The 3 year old loves it but the freezer is empty!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, if you could provide spot names and or coordinates it would be fantastic.

Good luck to all tomorrow with the great day we are supposed to have!! food-smiley-015.gif

Go up to Back River and hang a left. Go up into Back River for about a mile or two. The Coasties will let you know where you can anchor for the show. You can also fishing4.gif for croaker while anchored. There are some loan specks and once in a while a puppy drum will wander in, too.

I'm not real familiar with that area but if you head across the bay towards Back River you'll be pretty close to Langley. I've been over there a couple times out of Wallace's and seen low flying F-15's and F-22's. There's good fishing all around there too.

Here's the link to Wallace's in case you're not familiar with it.
