Fished the Mobjack/Ware River up in Gloucester on Saturday with my parents and wife. Pretty strong croaker action all day. I pulled in one on the first cast on a red jig head with a green curly tail tipped with shrimp. The big news, though, is that my wife caught her first ever fish...and she boated the biggest one of the trip! Glad to get out on the water...weather was a bit chilly, but a good day overall.


We ate these two tonight (the fish)...some parmesan, butter, and spices mmmmm

My, my, what nice catches. The fish are pretty good, too! Good, old reliable croakers - it is a shame they all don't pull as hard for their size.
