Well,

We went striper huntin' outa willoby spit ramp yesterday afternoon. Man it was rough!!! Any way we found the striper and limited out biggest was 22" no monsters around and they were real picky as how they wanted to bite. We also caught some nice blues and puppy drum and flounder throwbacks. All in all a good afternoon and noone got skunked on the boat. Kids had a great time. My bud's son caught his first pup!! Headin' to the blue water this weekend on my buds boat "OBSESSED" Best of luck to all during the long holiday weekend!!!

Gotta love watching kids catch fish! Way to go!

Congrats striperhunter - a man of my own heart. We too limited out on stripers today, but we were @ the CBBT. Got some flounder and croaker for dinner as well. It was a beautiful day on the water for a great father-son fishing trip! gotta luv it....

I too went out of Willoby Saturday on Mako Mandi. We stuck with fishing for flatties. Talked with a fellow board member on the way out(working on the bridge...can't remember name) That was pretty cool. First time on the radio. Even without any minnows we did pretty well. Many throwbacks!! We caught around 50 flatties with only 5 keepers! It really broke our hearts to have to throw back many 18 1/4". With last years size regs. we would have maxed out. I was amazed on how few croaker we caught. I used strips of croaker for the flatties which worked pretty well. All were caught on the Hampton bar in about 10-24 foot range. Great day on the water.
